The Organisation:

Everyone looks forward to a healthy and happy life. Unfortunately many will experience injury, trauma and illness, some of which may be life-threatening, some may require a long extended stay or a visit to The Townsville Hospital. The Townsville Hospital Foundation helps and supports patients and their families during these times, to provide additional patient and visitor care facilities.

100% of all funds raised, donated or provided through sponsorship arrangements are held locally for the benefit of our community. The role :

This role has been refined recently by the Board to develop the organisation’s strategy further with the role requiring re-advertisement.

In partnership with the Board, as the CEO, you will be responsible for the success of the organisation. Your role is to ensure long-term viability and growth. This includes identifying and building a diverse range of client relationships (business partners, sponsors, and community groups), with a strong focus on increasing existing revenue streams and expanding the Townsville Hospital Foundation service areas, including geographically.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong networks or the ability to develop. High-level discussions / negotiation skills

  • Focus on establishing and supporting key relationships with sponsors, businesses, stakeholders

  • Possess real drive, someone who wants to commit to the organization and make it your own

  • Capable of building the brand into the premiere Charity for North Qld “Charity of Choice

  • Have experience reporting to a Management Committee / Board
